apart from shooter, what are some semi-legit sniper tactics in movies?

Speaking of Shooter, did anybody see that fucking godawful TV show with that faggot Ryan Phillipe?
What a goddamn cringe fest, holy fuck. Everything in that show is just WRONG, from the casting, to the shit he says.

The first episode and beginning is him shooting free a wolf that was caught in some sort of trap, and then freeing another wolf by shooting it with a tranq.
The hunters who come to collect their pray then get a lesson in how the .223 Remington isn't "powerful enough to take down anything bigger than a squirrel", how the state of Washington doesn't allow trap hunting for wolves, and how even if it was legal, it's "a bullshit way to kill an animal like that", and how if they are gonna hunt, they need to atleast give the animal a chance.

When the hunters get angered because a fucking hipster, curly haired, weak little faggot took one of their rifles and is lecturing them about how little they know about anything and aim a pistol at him, he disarms them both, tranq them, and says "Let's see how you like being hunted when you can't move".
