Hey /k/, Masshole here,
noguns since my State is an oversized gulag. New Hampshire is just up North but I'm not in the financial position to move.
Is it basically okay for me to just go to a NH range and rent a firearm and ammo? My permanent residence wont affect me renting firearms, correct?
Can someone walk me through the process of renting guns at the range?
I found a range where I can rent a Thompson in full auto and I figure if I'm going to pop my freedom cherry I'd better do it the way 2a was meant to be.

>Go to range. Produce ID. Produce money. Go shoot.
Has your dumbass tried calling a range and asking questions? Fucking seriously.

Cool, thanks mate.
>calling a range
I stutter on phone and usually react with anger when people respond like I'm retarded.
Fellow masshole. Essentially you just show up, fill out a waiver, show id, and rent range time. The specific range policy's including whether or not they rent to out of states/people with no LTC/FID should be in their FAQ online. Manchester firing line is a pretty good place to rent, albeit can get pricey

Then you need to get off 4chan immediately
Ranges don't let you rent ammo sadly
I'm thinking of doing a petition to remove several "features" from the evil weapons list. The "features" are bayonet lugs, muzzle devices, and collapsible stocks. I also wanna see if I can get the removal pf a magazine limit on fixed magazines and all .22 magazines
The feels im in New Germany it sucks

Im in the same boat next month when I get stationed at cape cod. My plan is to keep my gun in Rhode island

most people that work at a range have probably heard it all, just ask
MA here too, I need to get out of this garbage pit, I cant take it anymore, the second its economically viable im going to move to a NH border town.

Nice term, let's meme it.

My local range while expensive, is considered one of the best ones on the I-95 corridor. They still let 18 year old groups of Chinese Nationals who flag the shit out of you go shoot. I think your autistic ass will be okay.

By the way, OP again,
is going from having shot .22 pistols once to firing a full auto Thompson a bad idea?
I didn't think of recoil or experience I just saw full auto and busted a nut.
Fellow Masshole here.
You walk into the range, sign some forms, and rent the gun of your choosing. That's it.
Go up the Manchester Firing Line range. Many ranges in NH don't let non-members shoot, but the firing line does. They also have a bunch of weapons (including machine guns) to rent.
Shit is expensive though. You have to buy their ammo, which is marked up by quite a lot.
