Why don't we have brain controlled triggers?

Because that shit is expensive
>>34832355
and impractical.
Brain scanning tech would be much more useful in an armor system to help control powered limbs with more precision and fluidity.
But SJWs have already perfected them

ahhh i can see it now
>20xx
>wake up one morning
>butler bot dresses me for me before i am even awake
>put on my neural interface helmet
>no it doesn't look weird
>grab my EDC piece
>the new caseless triggerless Glock 127
>apendix carry because maximum concealability
>ready for work
>JK robots do all the work now
>hop into my electric car because the nanny state has outlawed fossil fuels
>driving down the road
>well not really driving the car is doing that shit, i'm fucking around on google glasses
>some asshole with their car on manual control cuts me off
>who the fuck drives on manual control
>what a fucking moron
>wish i could blow his dick off
>no bullshit i'm pissed, just shoot him right in the dick like robocop
>can see myself doing it
>what was that noise? did i have a blowout?
>why do my pants feel wet?
>what smells like smoke?
>why....do i feel.....weak?
>>34832693
Now THAT'S what I call a smart gun!

>>wish i could blow his dick off

How many people on this site do you think actually use their brain?
>>34831775
Lag time. you want to take an all ready fast signal and process it through a computer, and then a servo of some sort, what if it gets panicked signals from you and overloads and freezes, what if you accidentally think it and shoot yourself in the goddamn leg,and adding safety features and shit for this just makes it take longer. Gif unironically related
I've been researching EEG headsets for computer related stuff. Frankly they suck. The amount of concentration needed to do something as simple as raise/lower a Pong paddle makes it entirely useless. Brain-computer interfaces aren't even close to usable for any application unless you're crippled.

Accidentally think about pulling the trigger
>>34835395
Whatever you do, do not think about pulling a trigger until you have to pull the trigger. Go.

Carloooos!
