Can't say I'm a great fan of the finish he gave the axe head, but I guess that's just a matter of taste. Especially combined with the somewhat soft shaping of it, the result just felt about as crisp as dough.

"Solid" chains tend to be somewhat stylish in appearance, but even when keeping other art pieces in mind, I just can't shake the feeling that this is one chain that won't be stronger than it's weakest weld. Still, I can live with what's most likely far worse when it comes to art pieces, so I probably shouldn't complain too much there. Might just be that the overall look doesn't entice me enough to get over it.

And remember kids, the smoke you get when welding galvanised metal ain't your friend.
