Constitution btfo
how about dump bullets into lake union in protest? like a tea party but bullets

Well shiiit. If it was found unconsitutional, wouldn't that be a one way street to the NFA being unconstitutional? Wew.
>>34826305
instead of dressing up as Indians you may opt for a more /k/ approach to the bullet party and dress up like a flaming faggot.
>>34826258
fucking horse shit. why dont we tax free speech in public as well
we need to get the fed supreme court to hear this
>>34826334
yes, because it is
reeeeeee cali piggus go home
>>34826385
Fuck that, we don't want them back. Now if only we could stop them from replenishing as fast as we're getting rid of them. We may have to crash this state, with no blue survivors.
>>34826258
Hmm I could have sworn there's very old case law at either the supreme court or at least federal level that more or less states taxing firearms/ammo such that it prevents poor people from owning guns is unconstitutional.
Firearms taxes already existed in various forms before this but I wonder if this could be challenged at the federal level.
4 cents a bullet, those rotten bastards
>>34826480
yes it's called a poll tax and it'll get btfo in the supreme court
>>34826305
You could also dump your ammunition into your local politician that supports this bullshit
>>34826258
Didn't Seattle try something like this a few years ago and it got thrown out? Why is it allowed to stay this time? What's different?
>>34826962
this is the same seattle tax. it got challenged in the superior count of the county before it was law a couple of years ago, but the case got thrown out by the libshit judge then too.
Theres literally like maybe 2 stores in Seattle city limits that sells guns or ammo.
and everyone jumped ship months ago

So reading the state's law mentioned in the article, it doesn't specifically list taxation, but does state all other fields relating to firearms, ammunition, and reloading components. You'd think taxes would fall under this regardless of the argument that taxation is not a form of regulation, which it is.
