I've had a friend with a Spanish Mauser and a Yugo of my own for years.
I rarely shoot without said friend to the point where we both practically co-own our firearms.

I own both a Spanish Mauser and an M93 Mosin so far, and I'd have to say that the Mosin's action is definitely my favorite. It's smoother when shooting standing or benched. I'd argue that the Mauser's action makes it harder for me to keep my snapshots going because it require a bit more force to close, setting the rifle off-balance upon closing. But, I guess everyone has their own tastes.
