it still strikes me as odd that "warrants" and "NCOs" are somehow different though. cuz, like, literally any "Warrant Officer" is an NCO and vice-versa, and we only ever use the term "NCO" for the benefit of foreigners who would be confused if we just say "The Warrant" or "The PO". I don't think it appears in any documents like SSOs or CFCD 10-whatever or w/e
