My first gun is pic related
Very happy with it
Want another
What to get?
>>
>>34824376
a revolver you can conceal carry
>>
I would say a decent automatic in something like 9mm or .40. Maybe a 1911?

What loads are you used to shooting in your revolver? If .357 I would say to get a .45 of some sort.
>>
Good first gun. I recommend a solid fun automatic, like USP-C 9mm.

how easy is it to accidentally shoot your dick off with these hammer-less revolvers?
>>34824396
I switch between 357 and 38 special.
Does it make sense to get a shotgun or rifle, or get a couple more handguns first?

The best way to carry them is in your pocket, bro. That being said, even if you did carry them AIWB, you would need to be a complete retard to have one glockleg your femoral artery.

You got a good general purpose handgun. If you want another handgun get a Glock 19. If you want a rifle get an AR15. If you want something less usual get a lever-action rifle in .357 magnum. 357 out of a rifle length barrel is more than enough ballistic performance to kill almost everything in North America but it's also pleasant as hell to shoot.

next to impossible unless you have something hard and heavy depressing it's trigger while carrying it
>>

It will have a 10lb+ trigger so something would have to apply 10+lbs of force to the trigger while something else applied 10+lbs of force to hold the gun in place. Breddy unlikely anon.

9mm glock, beretta, or sig.
>>
Henry 357mag lever rifle. I have a Marlin 44 (1894) but if I had a 357 gun, I'd get the Henry even though "muh loading tube". They're incredibly fun guns.

You NEED a CZ RAMI 9mm. The greatest subcompact 9mm metal frame carry gun.

They look to be cheap and reliable
>>34826146

The greatest handgun ever made.

get a subgun like an mpa30T
>>
>>34827722
Don't buy milsurp unless you're a collector and love the history of them. Buying one just to have something to shoot is stupid in the Current Year+2.
The loading tube is fine. Quick loading is only an issue in a combat rifle, which the Henry isn't. You will never use that rifle in a situation where the loading tube is any kind of serious downside.

...depends on taste and what ranges you have. Tactical 18" shotguns are great for their intended roll for home defense but outside of shooting steel targets and tactical training, you'll have more fun with a shotgun skeet shooting, but you'll need a long musket barrel for that.
>>
>>34824451
>>34824376
If you already have a .357 4" gp100 I'd say get the .22lr 5.5" gp100 for cheaper plinking and legit small game hunting.

A mossberg 590A1with an 18" barrel for home defense would be great

For hunting or clay shooting a 21" or longer barreled semi auto might be more fun and practical but not tactical.

I suppose the JM Pro 930 would be the best of both worlds.

thanks for the input bros, I'll read up on these guns
>>
I strongly suggest getting a .22 rifle or handgun. The ammo prices have fallen enough back to legit levels so you can shoot to your heart's content without crying.
