LASIK, steroids, HGH, blood doping, and amphetamines are all pretty thoroughly proven and commonly used right now.

gene editing is a rapidly advancing field and genetically engineered humans will probably be possible in a few years, but I imagine it will take longer to become politically/socially acceptable.

biomechatronics is also advancing quickly, so we can expect prosthetics to become more refined until losing a limb isn't a big deal.

powered and unpowered load bearing exoskeletons might soon allow soldiers to carry heavier weapons and armor.

why? just increases the average cost of armor. if you gonna do implants, do something to improve joints and reduce negative effects of sleep deprivation
