But my question wasn't answered. What is legitimately lower on the scale than Tula? I just buy the cheapest ammo there is, then clean the shit out of my funs after the range time.

I've gone through 1800 Federal Aluminum 9mm. I've had exactly 1 FTF in a gun that chokes on everything anyway.
Only concern is that the FTF caused about 1mm bullet setback when the nose of the bullet got rammed into the chamber wall. Probably not enough to matter, but better safe than sorry. Otherwise been clean and run 100%

Pretty much every autoloading pistol I've shot them with had an issue at some point; FNs, glocks, Springfields. I've never fed it to any of my rifles.

Yea the 9mm is 7.97 but that's a sale price. The .40 and .45 were regular priced and more than the federal. Didn't check any other calibers.
