Anybody know if this is the "desert sand" color? I'd love to get a white or off-white Glock (but preferably white) without having to pay to get the gun cerakoted separate from the purchase price. The desert sand color seems to be pretty close to off-white in certain lighting, but looks more tan in other lighting.

What is the recoil like the G42?

I owned a G43, but it's the only 9mm I could call snappy. Thinking of just buying the G42 because SO doesn't like recoil. I've heard the G42 is snappy to no recoil.
>>
>>34817450
Almost feels like a 22 with standard loadings. Almost. Defintely not snappy.

I have a 2012 Dakota. Small trucks are awesome to work on. Full size engine compartment with just a 3.9L v6, I can get to every single component besides the brakes without lifting the truck. The only hasten is the fuel pump, but it hasn't died yet so haven't had to deal with it.

Anyone know where I can get cheap G19 (gen4, is there a difference?) slides? Saving up 500 is a bitch and I'd rather build my Glock chunk by chuck like I did my AR. I don't care for the RMR cuts and all that jazz. I just want a good slide that I don't have to mill or put a finish on it, just a standard G19 slide. Factory ones are impossible to find for cheap.

Same, I have richfag parents that drive a multitude of luxury and 'premium' branded vehicles and I absolutely loathe some of them. S550 for example, absolutely marvelous when it comes to comfort. It feels a little gaudy at times but generally I like the interior. That all being said, it's a fucking mess of electronics that constantly fail and need replacing. Most of the issues were covered under warranty, but despite that we've needed ~$5.5k in repairs just in the couple years we owned it. It's a possibility it's a lemon but considering just how many electronics are in this thing, I think too many aspects of the vehicle are far too fragile for any extended use.

That's nowhere close to being the worst, my mother drove a 2014 Jaguar XJ and the fucking engine blew after 30k miles. It had issues with poor interior stitching, panel gaps the size of Texas, and also electronics failures similar to the S550.

The beauty of the G42 is that it isn't too small. Try an lcp and you'll know the definition of too small. My long fingers couldn't fully depress the trigger reliably. Had maybe a 10th of an inch to go. Ended up bleeding a bit after racking the slide. The Glock 42 basically has no recoil compared to an lcp as well.

JM custom kydex also sells a "long" holster which adds an inch or so. Gives you a good, full grip without having the issue of feeling that the holster will flop out due to being so short. Lehigh XP is a great round for .380 as well.
>>
>>34817450
Practically non existent. Sold my 43 for a 42, follow up shots are a breeze.

The only ss 9mms worth the capacity penalty is PPS, shield and p938, but you'd be much better off with a 26 instead. PPS loaded with 9 rounds is 26 oz and a G26 with 11 rounds is 26 oz, plus it shoots better and will take your 17 rounders...

Even though I got booted from his site, Suarez makes great Glock slides. Red dot pistols are the future. I'll probably do the same... Stay with gen3 unless you have babby hands.

Get a stripped frame, buy an Apex trigger, connector and plunger, get maybe a Suarez bbl and slide , pre milled for RMR, get the other internals, tall sights. It'll be $$, but you'll be able to attain 1.5" groups @ 25 yds with the aftermarket bbl/slide and the red dot would make it easier. Only thing left would be to stipple it and wait for gen2 rmrs to come out, which will drop the price for gen 1s. I'm not paying >$300 for a dot. They are only going to become more prevalent and cheaper in the future, I can wait.

If anyone needs to feed their G42, academy has 200 round range packs of steel cased 380 in a nice little range bag with handle and loops.

$36.99, two orders gets free shipping. If I recall, it comes to 18.5 cents per round. Not bad for 380 especially considering the free bags.

I do indeed have baby hands. I can shoot both fine but the larger gen 4 mag release but I'll make it work or have slide work done if I can get a good slide. I'm with you on the red dots are the future and they will be more common and cheaper but I'm gonna hold off to have my slide milled or buying a cut slide until I decide to get an RMR or the like

e30 was the last good car BMW made, which was 30 years ago.

I don't think thats something to gloat about.

Luxury german cars are shit after 100k thats why the resale is so shit and plebian suckers like yourself can buy them for like 12k and feel rich for 20k miles then it self destructs on you.

objectively wrong. e46 was good, e9x was also decent but pigfat. the switch to the Fxx chassis designation was the end though.

D I S A V A L V E faggot

The car catastrophically fails from a metal pin in plastic housing.

You are wrong, i owned a e46. It was riddled with problems, like window regulators breaking and thus breaking pulleys. After the starter died. I was finished with it.

You are faggot with a shit e46.
>>
>>34821933
well between that, and the subframe they did have issues. not like the E30 wasn't without problems as well.

It sounds more like you bought a lemon than the cars fault. I don't own a BMW, my family has, and they were quite fun, but I own a fiat 500 abarth and the 1965 ford f250 in this thread and a few bikes.

This. My father had a Jag XJ and a 1962 Mark V and as nice as they were to look at, obviously the 1962 had issues, but the newer XJ was a pain in the ass. My mother had an Audi and that was in the repair shop. No bueno.
