Guys I am worried about this north korea thing. I don't think they will hit me directly but the panic and chaos after a war is declared and nukes go off. I'm building a .300 blackout pistol for my 21st. Went to my local shop and bought a spikes tactical lower and upper set (in FDE) for $230, I just have to come in and pick it up on my birthday in a couple weeks. I've slowly been gathering up the tools to build it, but now I'm looking at the actual parts.

It's great to have, and I prefer to use a CHF barrel with chrome lining on rifles I will be shooting steel jacketed ammo through, in order to reduce barrel wear. All of my 5.56 carbines are CHF and chrome lined.

On calibers where steel jacketed ammo is rare or I never plan to shoot it (300 BLK being one), the chrome lining is unnecessary, and melonite provides plenty of barrel life. Additionally, melonite is capable of better accuracy than chrome lining.

In any event, I doubt you can afford enough 300 blk ammo to actually wear out a barrel at ~$.80/rd, do don't get too wrapped around the axle. Save your money for good glass so you can shoot it well.

Looks solid to me. I would go with the 15" rail though. The UBR is going to look weird with the exposed barrel. UBR is more of an SPR stock anyway, but it is a solid as fuck stock regardless. It will just be more aesthetic with more rail IMO.

Might consider an Aero lower over the PSA lower. Finish is nicer, and only $30 more or so.
