Mateba was making autorevolvers until 2005 and the original GitS movie debuted in 1995. If OP's argument actually held water, the extra demand created by weeaboos might have allowed Mateba to continue making guns instead dying only to be resurrected as a second-rate accessory manufacturer. In reality, very few weebs were/are going to shell out $1000+ for a revolver that was difficult to obtain even when it was in production.

I mean, they are relatively rare and unique. I actually have one, a matte nickel version in 44 mag that I picked up off of gunbroker for about $1k. It looks cool as hell but I've never actually shot it. The grip is cracked which is common because of the type of wood used. I think these should be <$3k guns but they are not so expensive because of an anime, that's retarded.

Actually, YEARS ago a guy was selling 3 NIB Matebas in .357 for $1250 each, this was before I got mine. They were about $2500 then and my dumb ass bought two shitty SBSs from him for $900 instead....this is my biggest gun purchase regret.

When you consider that there are whole seasons without a single show worth watching, generally consisting of 40 to 60 shows (spring 2016 had 64 for example not counting OVAs) each individually consisting of 12x 25 minute episodes, means that in order to find the few decent shows from a year that pass the shit test, you need to trawl through at least 200 hours every three months of ~AmIKawaiiUguu~ garbage that makes HBO look like high art. As much as I hate it, probably the Bren-10, and not because I give a shit about the Bren ten at all. Fits the profile of having a basic bitch sister (CZ75/Regal) while being an expensive (especially now) and kinda rare, also sorta big and ugly to a lot of people . Could be some better fits but that's the first that comes to mine
