Why do gun owners on the internet shill for and buy German made guns? I know that they're probably a little better than American made guns, but when you're behind the barrel and your life is on the line, all you need is a gun that gets the job done, not the most accurate gun on the market. Buy S&W, the patriotic choice.

Because ruger makes better revolvers
>>34797383
This. And they don't have cuck locks.
My next revolver will be pic related. Unfluted is my fetish
>>34797299
So many American makers have forgotten what their guns are for, or just don't care; that's why. That being said I do own a new production Smith without the lock. Great gun

After buying my LCRx, I just want a GP100 so bad now.

Pic related is on my short list of next guns to buy along with a mauser C96 or a 10mm 1911.
>>34797299
I'd love to have a pre-Hillary hole Model 10, as well as a slam-firable Ithaca 37. American guns overall have sucked since the 80s.
>>34797490
Do eet. I got a deal on a used SS 4" GP100 a few weeks ago. Did some internal polishing, changed out some springs and shimmed the hammer and it is fucking choice son.
Inb4 "you had to tune it so it's shit" Outside of custom shop guns or high end brands like Korth there is not a single production revolver made that doesn't need some tuning to reach its' full potential.
>>34797606
Lurk Gunbroker for a few weeks. Really good deals on older model 10s pop up all the time.
>>34797299
S&W betrayed the 2nd amendment . The name should die

All these guns are too big and heavy to carry
They are range toys, nothing more

- t. manlet
Of course old smiths are best from when the company wasn't run by bureaucrats and lawyers, but there's a few things they can still get right from time to time...

Do you even lift bro?

Keep looking. They're out there.

Nah, that's just what tends to sit on my dresser
>>34797669
They're not exactly compact, but they're not XBOX HUEG either, just get a shoulder holster like a true patrician
>>34797869
>cuck sling
>>34798177
What? I had put that sling on there before braces were a thing...
>>34797299
S&W sold out to the Clintons while my niggas at HK were fighting the good fight.
>>34798063
>he uses a shoulder holster
>>34797299
Because S&W kowtows to the antigun lobby
>>34798515
>>34798515
What's wrong with shoulder holsters?
>>34797669
For you.
Actually I picked up this Mod 10-7 Today for 290 so think I made out pretty well
>>34798431
It's not a stock, that's what. Give that bad bitch the triangle side folder she deserves.
>>34797299
First, I have a pretty bad ass collection of Smith revolvers. Mostly pre-lock, but a few post-lock if it was attractive enough.
Sadly the M&P semi's aren't great. They're not bad, but the 9mm can't hold a group at 25 yards, and many of the parts have seams from their molds that inevitably break. Most owners don't shoot enough or push range enough to see these deficiencies. The M&P is probably good enough for most people's self defense, but an XD or Ruger are better guns for the money, and Glocks, HK, Beretta, etc are just better guns for the higher cost. To Smith's credit, they have the best backstrap system out there.
I hope the 2.0 versions are better, because I like Smith, and I think the shield has been a good gun at a great price. I think the 1911's and AR's are good, but they get lost in the crowd.
>>34798890
a fine deal. Good catch
>>34797299
I love pre Hillary hole smiths. I pick up old smiths when I see them on the cheap.
But if I buy new, I buy Ruger.
>>34798515
How else to you cc your model 29?
I do. Pre locks.
3 inch barrels are the lowest I'll go for revolvers, but if I can carry a 3" then I might as well carry a 4"
And alloys are garbage on revolvers; if it ain't steel, it ain't worth using
>>34798976
Glocks are simply a better choice than M&P in 9mm, and can be gotten for around the same price.
>>34798900
I'd rather have a brace over a triangle folder. If I SBR it I'll probably get an underfolder (since it has the UF trunnion) or more preferably I'd find an AIMR stock and trunnion
>>34798440
Is this true? Forgive me for Not knowing, but if that's true then fuck them. I like the M&P guns cause they're nice and comfy in my hands but I can't give my money to guys like that
