Hello /k/, I live in a cucked country where I'm not allowed to shoot any handguns recreationally, but am now visiting another country and going to a shooting range tomorrow. I'm very excited and looking for any advice beyond the usual safety rules. I've only been to a range once before, where I shot a glock (50 rounds) and an AK47 (45 rounds). Tomorrow I will have an opportunity to try a wider selection, such as MP15, glock, beretta, TT, S&W 38 special, AK, CZ scorpion evo, mossberg shotgun and others. I have a limited budget, are there any recommendations how to spend my money there? (They charge per round) Should I start with small caliber and move on to larger ones progressively? Should I bother with a .22? Is there any dumb shit beginners do that I could avoid doing with prior knowledge gaind from you anons? In general, how do I make the most of my day? The next opportunity will not come very soon. What do?

I don't know how the range works, obviously ask first but try to stop in at a LGS and buy the ammo yourself then rent the gun.
just shoot gun and have fun

Thanks for advice, but it's only possible to buy ammo at the range and strictly for range use, but no gun rental cost, they just charge for ammo.

How much is 50rds of .22lr, 50rds of 9mm or .38, what does a box of 12ga run?

My local is the same, sans free rental. Free rental is awesome, take advantage of it.
