I used some hoppes no 9 bore cleaner and some pb blaster but I think I'm going to need to sand down and re paint the mags because the rust keeps coming back and it's making it fit a little bit too tight in the gun now.

It's really my best option right now because my job requires tucked in shirt/khakis and my budget isn't very high but I prefer to buy goods that are great in quality.

I own three rifles and haven't gone out of my way to find a place to shoot them.

The only rifle I have fired was the M16 at BMT and the only handgun I've ever fired was my friend's 1911.

I moved states and stupidly left my parents my guns to hold onto until I was setup. 2 weeks before I can home I get a letter saying "lol we sold all ur guns cuz we didn't feel like holding onto them any longer, tough shit heres $375" they were worth at least $1200 on the low end. Frankly I want to call the cops and have their asses throw in jail for basically what amounts to selling stolen firearms but then I get lose even more money in the form of college savings and inheritance.

I have one in the mail rn to my FFL. Everything I've read says they're shit out of the box, but can be worked over into something functional. I just got it because I can't NOT buy a $139 shotgun. So, I'm gonna make it a project/fuckaround gun.

Play all three games in sequel, Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.

Once you finished all vanilla, check out Mods. There's so many of them, many adding guns and changing graphics, some even changing or expanding the story.

One full concept mod (for CoP) is Misery, which really expands the items in game, gives the whole game a more worn down, rusty appearance. Some dislike it because of the artificial difficulty (things being made harder, such as AI, aiming, dmg, etc. simply for making it harder for you), though if you play on Master (hardest difficulty) and apply some tactics (flanking, right ammo, etc.) you can survive just fine. I like it a lot and you should give it some tries once you finished the games.

I don't own an AR or AK or any type of "assult weapon." I do have an M1 Garand, SKS, SVT40, and 7 Enfields. I would like to think i'd be ok in a SHTF scenario but i know i'd be at a disadvantage. Also, i have over 700 rounds of 7.62x39 but only my Yugo SKS to feed.

I resent my Arisaka and my 91/30 for the space they take up in my safe, but am too lazy to sell them. The Arisaka is a GI bring back that was damaged in combat, but is still sound, the stock and stock metal just look like it's a post apocalyptic movie prop, I'd take $50 and throw in half a box of Hornady, or a buck fifty for the nugget.

I want to refinish and tacticool my Garand, because the PO ruined its finish, I'd sell it instead if I got the right offer.

I want to sell an AR or two but can't decide which one, and want ARs in other configurations, so I'm probably going to end up with 3 or 4 more.
