US shoes are separated by sex unlike the EU and certain other countries. M=mens, W= womens with men's shoe width being identified by C, D and E. C is for narrow feet D is for normal feet (which is what most EU shoes come in) and E is for wide feet. Sometimes a W is used in men's shoes but that means it's wide.

Shoe size converter charts are everywhere on the internet and assuming that you don't find the toe cap of your regular shoes too tight, then it's most likely a D.

Go get sized at a men's shoe store with a Brannock device and go from there. You need a point to start from and manufacturer size charts are notoriously shit since they all sell shoes designed with different lasts.

different companies are going to have variations in sizes and if it's a leather boot, it will stretch so it's good to go down a size or a half size. I wear anywhere between a 9.5 and 11, my feet are about 26.5 cm.
