WA here, I only have a WA CCW License and I'm planning on going to Oregon, probably eastern OR, it all depends on how the skies look like before we leave. Since I don't have a OR CCW License what should I do with my handgun, (G19)? Unload it and place it in the trunk or can I open carry it? If open carry is legal for visitors does it matter if it's loaded? Thanks.

Oregon securibro here, it is legal to open carry. However, if anything is obstructing it AT ALL, it could be considered concealed by some officers.

Thanks, I'm gonna say fuck it and just toss it unloaded in my trunk so I don't get fucked with. I assume that would be okay right? I'll keep the ammo separate upfront in the glovebox.
