>and then, like an answer to a prayer, the wonder 9 to end all wonder 9s stepped forward. It was hard to see at first, with it's polymer frame and metal slide like all the others. There was something different about this one though. There was a certain charm.. a level of class. It was perhaps in the angles that it first began to stick out.. Then more and more it became apparent that this was a pistol in an entirely new class of its own. The sights... the grips... the charging handle.. Some onlookers would turn to the others and ask "What did they mean by this?" The replies were numerous but almost always the same. They would reply "i'm not sure but I... well.. I want to find out more."

What are you trying to pull here OP? The trigger on the PPQ and M&P look photoshopped.

In real life, the PPQ has a trigger safety mechanism similar to the Glock, and the M&P has a split trigger safety mechanism like the FN above it.

Why did you photoshop the triggers, what could you possibly gain by doing that?

Of course the P07/9 and P10 are plastic.

Not as hard as you might think. The only tools you need to detail strip a Glock are a punch, hammer, and bench block. Certainly not nearly as hard as building an AK from a demilled parts kit.

>>34789952
No. This was never the case -- hence the file name. The best you can get is getting the LGS to order an FDE or ODG Glock for you, since those are factory options.

Look, if you want a weird color pistol, just understand that you're asking for something that is difficult to mass market. P80 can do it because they're going for the DIY crowd anyway. People joke about making 100% non-glock glocks, but it's not anywhere near as easy as throwing an AR-15 derivative together. Hell, non-colt AR-15's are the norm.

when you are a project manager you can take a risk and bet hundreds of jobs on an inferrior and untested product.

further more you can go against what the sector is asking for and what it is selling. so you can sell to some fantasy.

not every iteration of a product is going to be the new sliced bread, automobile, or assembly line of its generation. for every remarkable and 'disruptive' inovation there are hundreds of small incremental changes that people buy.

think like you actually have a job in product design.

Nope, they're about as accurate in general as a 1911 of similar quality, if you are used to the trigger

All manufacturers have converged at a single, mostly bezelless rounded rectangle design that is objectively the most practical given the current technology and most use cases.
If you're one of these people desperate enough to be a special snowflake at any costs, feel free to use a 2010 Blackberry, carry a No 2 Mk I in .38/200 in a shoulder holster together with a steampunk-modded vape and wear a trilby and a trench coat, but please don't make threads on /k/ about it.

The CCP wasn't a complete flop and the Beretta 92 had a locked-breech action with a fixed barrel. There's still a place for it, there just hasn't been a huge marketing rush. Maybe when barrel attachments are completely deregulated people will say they take them the best and they're the most accurate so we should go back. Imagine how many sneekums we could get out of a silencer built without a Petersen Device.
>>
>>34786135
The modern firearm industry fucking sucks. It's all Mauser based bolts, browning short recoil pistols, rotating bolt gas operated semis.

That's why you should only use old vintage guns. Back when things had veriaty. Like fucking long recoil semi auto rifles and straight pull bolt actions and gas delayed pistols and so on.

Low drag high speed fucking sucks.
