Anyone have either of this?

I'm new to pistol caliber carbines and ive heard good things about the Scorpion but I know the MPX is new to the market relatively.

Vectorfag here.

Just ran the gambit of the pistol caliber carbine.

I was leaning very closely toward an MPX but decided on the vector instead, largely because of the Glock mag compatibility and the unique function.

In my experience, you really can't go wrong with either the MPX or Scorpion though, but I personally prefer the MPX from a quality and familiarity standpoint.

>>
>>34788997
Send an email. I asked them when their sbpdw would be in stock, they told me a week ish, and then they followed up as soon as it was available. God tier customer service.
>>
I got an evo SBR'd, two things I would recommend if you get a brace is a right side safety delete and a new pistol grip. The stock one has a horrible angle. There is one floating around for like $20 that I picked up and it is worlds better. Also I think HBI makes it, buts its a trigger spring that brings the trigger down to about 5lbs and its only $5 or so.
>>
>>34785308
I am a PCC whore and have both along with several other PCCs.
Compared to my other PCCs, when shot the scorpion has very jumpy recoil. Not smooth like an MP5 or the MPX. It runs decently suppressed, but the single reason it has gotten so popular is its price. Both the gun and mags are cheap for the scorpion.

The MPX is smooth, but can be gassy when suppressed. Plus, Sig is sure to drop support for the MPX like they do for everything anymore. While the MPX mags aren’t HK pricy, they aren’t cheap either.

If I could just have one of the two, I would go with the MPX.

Other options you should be considering:
Kriss Vector
Zenith MP5 clone
B&T APC9 or APC45.
9MM AR-15 with LRBO
B&T TP9
UZI Pro
>>
>>34788583
Yes, just don't try to go full cheap about it.
Some guidelines.
1. Buy one that takes Glock mags.
2. Buy a dedicated lower, not a mag block conversion.
3. Buy as much of the gun from a single manufacture as possible. I recommend QC10.
4. Not all LRBHO devices are created equal, do research before buying.
>>
>>34790838
I was looking into a dedicated Colt pattern lower, any downsides to that? Supposedly the lrbho is more reliable with Colt stick mags, compared to Glock.

The guns and ammunition we were using in the 60's are basically what we're using today. The UZI's design isn't all that outdated.

As someone who's owned an open bolt 10" bbl UZI for years, serves with an EVO and owns an MP5 clone, the UZI is fucking trash and if you seriously compare it to a closed bolt pistol carbine, you have likely never shot either.
I actually sold it months after getting the MP5 because the prospect of shooting any 9mm through the UZI instead of the MP5 was simply so laughable.
>>
>>34792923
Yes - why are you such a faggot?
>>
>>34792266

>>
>>34792010
Yes and no on the APC 45. It's very nice, nicer than it needs to be. Everything feels so well put together on it. Still though, you could buy a CMMG MKG for half the price and while it won't be as silky smoothly put together, it will likely work just as well. I put it on the list to investigate as someone might want that top tier of PCC rather that just something that works.

TP9, only if you really want something very small and lightweight. The only other option I can think off off the top of my head in this size category would be a UZI Pro. Again, more of a specialized want, but if you have that itch it's about the only way to scratch it.
>>
>>34799827
>you could buy a CMMG MKG for half the price
Get out peasant.
>>
>>34795405
My kid was getting gassed out while mag dumping the MPX through the omega 9k this past weekend.

It could be silencer/rate of fire dependent.
>>
>>34791532
LRBHO for Glock mags seem to have the most problems with aftermarket mags. My PCC AR-15 hasn't failed to lock back yet with factory mags.

Why no rifles using recoil reducing mechanism? AA12 is the only thing i can think of thats close enough.

Could be. The mystic is kind of a big silencer. Means lots of volume maybe less back pressure? Either way it's a joy to shoot.

Yeah basically, on the most basic level, in that we still use self contained cartridges and projectile weapons. A heavy stamped steal blowback gun whose best feature is a telescoping bolt and disassembly isn't the same as a gun with either an extensive use of polymer or aluminum to weight less, while having a piston system, waaaay better sights and trigger options ,better mounting options, better stock options etc etc etc. Let's realistic for a minute man.
>>
>>34800434
It's not a recoil reducing mechanism. That benefit comes from the action being ahead of and inline with the hand. Also rifles can just make use of inline stocks, gas systems and muzzle devices. They're easier to shoot anyway thanks to weight and points of contact
>>
>>34788750
Also vectorfag here, wish I had gone with an MPX desu, I want an echo trigger one day.

How do you like your vector? I got mine in 10mm and it's neato.
