Hey /k/ just went and opened up a safety deposit box to fetch some of granpappys guns, 4 handguns (one revolver, 3 semi autos). None have been fired or touched for that matter in over 20 years. Any suggestions for who to go to for the initial cleaning/checking they still work? Pic was the closest thing to /k/ related on my phone

Don't go to someone to get them cleaned. There are thousands of videos online on how to clean guns, along with what tools you'll need. Also, post pics and you'll probably get more help.

This followed up by some oil. Then to make sure they "work" just go out to the range and shoot them. If you didn't find any obvious cracks, or rusting on internal components etc. the worst thing that will happen is a malfunction.
