So i went on a small binge this weekend and bought some of my first surplus / tactical gear.
I now have 3 pairs of multicam BDU's, a couple of ACU's that I want to try dying to coyote or something, blue bdu pants, an assault pack and some other surplus/camo goodies.
Now I want to did a toe into some Euro/Foreigner type camo. I was going to get BDO/field shirts, but I thought that Tshirts might be more practical for everyday wear... I thought about starting with some British DPM, but can't decide between the desert or tropical variety....any other ideas?
If I can find something for $10 tonight I'll splurge and buy something, but the real buying will starting earnest next week.
So I guess I need sources for cheap Euro/slav surplus and suggestions on some patterns.

>ACUs i want to dye coyote
Why the fuck did you buy that shitfag-tier trash instead of just buying god-tier desert MARPAT?

Because it's readily accessible and cheap.
Got a place to get marpat?

So far it looks like SG, Hessen Antique and Epic Militaria seem to be the main, non-Ebay sources.
Or would I do better on Ebay?

ACU's don't dye very well. I had some stuff from my enlistment that I didn't really use for anything and researched it to see if I could make them useful. About the only thing that worked out was you could get a good dark grey and black urban camo out of them.

Ebay is usually the best place to look first.
Can someone please explain to me why a non-autistic human being would ever wear camo anything in public on an even semi-regular basis?

Tons of camo patterns have been fashionable. Woodland back in the day, now multicam. Hell is the country, people have worn hunting camo things for a long time. I think it looks bad if you are strait up wearing BDU pants or something throughout your day, but things in a camo pattern can be okay.
Relatively inexpensive, durable, outdoorsy.
This kind of stuff is what Banana Republic was actually founded on way back in the day.
