I know about the gun somewhat.
>only payed $100
>dude didn't have a clue what it was
but besides that i need help with the markings and what they mean.
i have seen prices all over the place but was valued at 900 by a collector that didn't know much but had a few civilian models.
what does /k/ think its worth?
markings engraved in handle
reichsrevolvers were a hodgepodge of stuff, almost every major plant in germany made them at some point.
check the serials on all the parts, virtually everything big enough to be engraved should have a number on it.
markings on back. (for battalion i believe)

You lucky piece of shit.

Even if it's totally mismatched and has a shot out bore, it's worth a good bit more than you payed. You did pretty fucking good.

BLMI is unit marking. I'm no expert (but try the Jan Still forums because they also deal in shit like this). I can't really give you an exact value, but even if you're desperate you could 5x your money no problem.
Hot damn.
You could easily get $800+ out of this. I've only ever seen one at a gunshow in Iowa. She was selling it for $1500.
