How the heck do you put Optics on a AKM?

You bought the wrong AK if you want accessories. Yugo AKs are pretty much the only major AKs that don't accept AKM furniture.

As for optics, all N-PAPs come with a side rail to mount any kind of soviet optics. You can get a standard rail adaptor too if you want to be a faggot.

You could try an Ultimak for reflex/holo sights, replaces the top handguard

Get rid of the rear sights. Trust me, it's much easier to aim with just the front sight and the little canyon where the rear sight would sit.
