Having handled both, but fired neither, the x95 feels undoubtedly more ergonomic. My current feeling is that the x95 would be best for home defense but the AUG has much more functionality. For example, whatever we buy will secondarily be a hog killer.

I can understand people not being on the bullpup train for military purposes, but the weapons do have their niche. For example, doubling as home defense and hog guns.

X95 is a better gun. 1.5-2MOA consistently if you're worried about the accuracy stuff.

It has better controls, better trigger (which is super easy to replace btw), more modular, tritium integrated BUIS, stupid reliable, and the list goes on and on.

Not that the AUG is bad, but imho the X95 is the definitive 5.56 rifle.

AUG. Timeless and classic. Before i bought it, I handled a Tavor and it felt cheap to me for the money. Also Steyr mags are only $20 for 30 or 42 rounders atm.
