No, I like them too. I have a full-sized model though. It fits my hand well and is an accurate shooter. The recoil is soft and I've never had a reliability issue in about 750 rounds. Good capacity, easy takedown, solid sights. Maybe the design is a little "busy" for some people, but I like it. It's a solid gun for the price. Now if Ruger would make a threaded barrel and some extended mags for it I'd be real pleased.

The American is gonna be bigger. It was supposed to be a contract gun and the frame is modular like the P320 but absolutely nobody talks about it. On the bright side it's pretty comfy and much like the APX, less ugly in person

I'm glad the changed up the sights on the American. I liked how clean the SR was but the sights just didn't look right
