What's up with that? I've seen this same shit on FirstSpear's website saying that "x product is available in AOR1 or AOR2 for authorized users." Does the Navy hold the patent on it and only authorize certain people to own it or what? yeah so as far as i know the navy owns the pattern and allows the companies that print fabric to make it in AOR1/2 under the agreement that they will only sell to authorized users in order to fulfill navy contracts, etc. as in even if you have a contract to make things for NSW they're going to ask you how much fabric you'll need and they'll let brookwood or whoever to sell you that much.

They don't add much weight and you never knew if you might need one or two for signaling. I use Cyalume brand industrial grade sticks (stronger than their military-grade ones).
