Condition?

It took me years of searching to find mine. Gun shops, pawn shops, no luck. Finally I ran across a scrawny middle-aged man at a gun show wheeling around a cart full of surp. The bulging Czech winter trigger guard immediately revealed the third rifle in his cart. I didn't buy it then because it was before payday, but I got his number and met him at the next show. I got an Israeli K98, a mismatched WWII German bayonet and scabbard, 2 slings (wartime German, IDF), and a couple hundred rounds of corrosive 7.62.

Turns out the previous owner flew search & rescue missions by the Grand Canyon and kept this K98 stashed in the helicopter. The bore is mirror bright and there are no import marks.
