Only recently been able to start collecting guns, the two winchesters I've inherited, the makarov was something I only got the cosmoline out of last night.

On the list of stuff I'm hoping to get soon are another milsurp bolt action (K31, carcano, MAS 36, etc.), FN-49, and an Ortgies. I would like a VEPR in 7.62x54r, but I expect the prices to be too high by the time I'm in a position to get another gun.

It's good for the price. It's decent overall and what you would expect out of a CZ clone. They cost about as much as makarovs do now and they take a more common cartridge so take what you will. I have had some problems with certain brands of ammo so if you get one choose wisely.

my PSL came with the LPS 4x24 scope. I really like how I can see down the iron sights just fine with the scope attached since there's no battery compartment. It don't bother me that the reticle don't light up since I don't shoot at night

Got it a few weeks ago actually. Don't want to shoot it since I haven't had it checked by a gunsmith yet and I also want to keep my hands along with not destroying a piece of firearms history.

It's all matching and the bore is in amazing shape for the age but the barrel itself isn't screwed in all the way into the receiver and I can't tighten it all the way by hand nor do I have the equipment. To make things worse I was cleaning the bolt yesterday and a link on the end of the bolt spring was broken off and fell out when I took the bolt apart. I only paid 500 for it and the last lebel on Gunbroker I saw in similiar condition went for $1000 so i'm not extremely upset. I just hoped it is not irreversibly fucked.

PPU makes some decent commercial ammo and brass. The boxed complete ammo doesn't have gaps for the bullet tips in the tube on the lebel so you have to be careful if you have bullets in the magazine. God knows why though.

I think about the years to come and hoe I will have a collection like this and I feel like it will be amazing. But theres just something about seeing all these guns belonging to one person that makes me feel sad, like its thousands of dollars worth of guns and they just sit in safes and dont get as much use as they could. I would rather see these guns spread out and given to a group of people who dont have any guns, and they will have a gun that theyll never forget about. Jericho is, as of this morning, a recent acquisition. It's a surplus 941F converted to SAO for use by the police force. Also known as the 941PS (Police Special). Paid $425, probably could've gotten it for less though. Cheap but rare, there is no history of these things in the states except one Buds sale in which they sold for $240 a piece, which is where my seller got his. I'd say he's pretty happy with $185 profit.

yea, I ended up taking that off and putting the iron sight back on it.
If it makes you feel better, the receiver had been drilled and tapped, so it's already a "shooter" rifle anyways. Damn shame too.

Went and shot my AKM in the woods today. Gotta say they aren't the most accurate rifles at longer rangers, but they riddle the target and get the job done.

The gas system is perfectly fine and infinitely adjustable. Itd be easier if it were just normal, adverse, off settings but it can be fine tuned to any load if you so choose.
