The range I go to has some pretty relaxed ROs who are polite but will jump in on safety violations.

I've got a range in my area I avoid because everyone at the LGS and the reviews say the ROs are fucking assholes with a complex. Everyone can probably relate. We all know that one gun store or one range run by fucking dickheads who think they know everything. Sometimes the worse part of firearms are the people who share the hobby. My LGS owner always tells a story of when he got in to firearms and wanted to sell a mossberg shotgun and the store he went to told him they didn't buy trash. Who knows if it's true but he seems to take that experience to heart and is a really professional guy.
