I've seen Freedom uppers selling for $200-210 without bcg or charging handle as recent as last January. They go for $300-310 with bcg, ch and even with a rear sight when on sale. Wait for a sale. Otherwise, save up for a CHF upper or wait for a sale on those. There was a $399 CHF rifle kit on the site a few days ago.
