The barrels were indeed rifled to be compliant with the laws, but the rifling was pretty much decorative, since it wasn't actually needed to stabilize the rockets.

This was really a missed opportunity. They focused on meme guns. Supposedly, MBA built 25mm and 40mm rockets. Would have loved to see these built into man portable SA/FA grenade launchers. Still a good idea.
