alright milfags and leofags
What do your qualification shoots look like? And/or how has it changed since you started? What are you shooting at, from how far, for how many rounds, with what as a passing grade?
Or put more simply, what does your agency expect you to be able to do with your weapon?
Even though pic related is iconic for my dept range, we mostly shoot a bowling pin type silhouette, about equivalent to the FBI Q target.
50 round course of fire, timed with a buzzer, 5 rounds at 25, 15 at 15, 20 at 7.
>On the buzzer, two rounds, reload, one round and holster
Minimum score 40/50 in the silhouette
Overall it's pretty similar to FBI's standard.

I don't have an agency, although I just applied to a bunch of PDs.
From what I can tell the standards are laughable and accessible to all but seriously mentally or physically disabled people, women tend to squeak by.

The qualifications really amount to a bare minimum. Don't forget that every house mouse and desk jockey has to pass them too, even if they push pencils instead of sector cars.

Army quals as of 4 years ago are thus.
40 rounds total
20 prone supported, 10 prone unsupported, 10 kneeling
Various ranges out to 300 meters, each Target is up for a set amount of time based on range. Targets pop up in a set sequence that you don't know unless you are going last and get to watch others.
I forget the exact numbers. I think 23-29 is marksman, 30-36 is sharpshooter, 37+ is expert
