Contrast is too great between the bright greens and dark splotches. At least from what i've seen living in the midwest you definitely want more brown, and even a brown hue to it like >>34743777 Marpat (Technically called woodland digi unless it has the EGA printed on it) tends to work better unless you're hiding inside of a bush in the middle of summer.

It's got a little too much black in it, but it was primarily developed for actual use in the West coast.

Not to say it's not effective in Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, NF) but it's only really useful during the green summers.

Flecktarn during Ontario Autumn is crazy effective though.

Tldr I would take Russian digiflora over Cadpat any day of the week.

CADPAT is like an older cousin to the Finnish M05, and a distant relative to the Danish M84, both which definitely work damn fine in northern woods

Yeah, I haven't bothered to get issued any arctic gear (because fuck having more shit until I need it) but some of my buddies have gotten some of the new stuff.
It's pretty neat, just plain white with digital patches of grey all around.

Looks similar to the Finnish stuff.
