Impractical.

Its relatively flat blade shape means it has no belly and is essentially useless for utility tasks,

It has no front quillion or finger choil, and the handle is flat, meaning if you did ever intend to use it for self defense, in a thrusting attack there is a very high chance of hand slipping and accidental injury to yourself.

It does look neat, and in a self defense situation, drawing a knife is usually enough of a deterrent to prevent further escalation, but if you ever did have to pull a knife in a self defense situation it had better be one you can actually use to defend yourself, otherwise unless you have received formal weapons training, pulling this piece of shit was a bad life choice.

A decent steak knife would be better for self defense and utility.

But it isn't a bad looking knife,
Sharpen it, and put it on a shelf out of reach of children as part of your "collection" but never actually use it because it's a hazard to its user.

Honestly an Opinel would be better and I fucking hate those pieces of garbage.

It is nice for peeling apples. Millions of these slender pen jackknives were made between 1900 and 1950 or so for all sort of gentleman's tasks. Near none combat value It is a nice sample though and not the cheapest of its kind. Worth hanging on to as a collectible.

It's a produce knife. Go to work with any fruit/vegetable company and you will be issued one if you're working the floor.
