Why do people seem to think this is space marines? Its literally AFSPC being given its own pool of funding. Its still going to be same uniforms, same MOSs (1C6X1), same everything. On top of that, its probably not going to happen anyway.

Second. China and Russia both have newly minted space forces but you don't see them flying space warships. That doesn't mean the job won't be uninteresting either but rather more like cyber warfare with the added potential of people destroying some of your assets with things like anti-satellite weapons. It'll be more of a thinking man's game instead of mindless fun like ground forces.
