If all they use are the trigger groups and mags from the parts kits, what do they do with the rest of the stuff that they come with? Or is that all? I'm new to the whole parts kit thing, sorry for asking noob questions.

But that's exactly what it is.
Cheap ammo allows poorer people to shoot regularly.
Relegating us to only domestically available, high priced ammo is a class warfare tactic.

Why do Russians not believe in optics?
>>
>>34739523
The bill requires 5 santions from a list of 12 sectors. It is very possible to avoid a ammo restriction.

>>34739545
Start the emails early. Hell, even if your not a nra member use this as a base for communications. They had a change in leadership. Tell them you haven't forgot about '94 or the lack of influence when 7n6 was arbitrarily reclassified. Why should you become a lifetime member of they don't fight for you?
>>
>>34739591
>tfw all my .50's are full
>>
>>34739610
They probably just cant afford to equip every soldier with an optic
>>
>>34739591
Those look like 30 cals.

Also, in case anyone hasn't read Trump's statement on signing the bill:
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/read-trumps-full-statement-russia-sanctions-bill-seriously-flawed/

Of particular note for us:
>My Administration has attempted to work with Congress to make this bill better. We have made progress and improved the language to give the Treasury Department greater flexibility in granting routine licenses to American businesses, people, and companies. [...] The new language also ensures our agencies can delay sanctions on the intelligence and defense sectors, because those sanctions could negatively affect American companies and those of our allies.

Furthermore:
>Still, the bill remains seriously flawed – particularly because it encroaches on the executive branch’s authority to negotiate. [...] The Framers of our Constitution put foreign affairs in the hands of the President.

I expect Trump to challenge aspects of the bill at this point on Constitutional separation of powers grounds. The government doesn't like sharing, but it especially doesn't like to share with itself.

Don't ruin a collectible rifle like that. I'd say get a Zenitco git up for that look given that an optic on the rail would would make it so that you couldn't fold the stock. Also by the time you have the side rail installed and an optic mounted, you're talking half the price of zenitco stuff in the first place.

Well, then congrats on what is, at best, a collectible or will be. You'll only ruin the value of the rifle by putting a scope mount on it. A good non-permanent action if you just have to half a side mount is this

A Russian ammo ban would suck on unfathomable levels, but if you need ammo and have really none now, 9mm,.223 you will be able to get still fairly cheap, wolf gold from Taiwan is good stuff and I think around 30 cents a round, compared to 21 cents or so for wolf steel case.

same for 9mm, that will be around pretty cheap.

What gets me the most now is that Russia is FAR more socially conservative than the US now. I also like how literal socialists and communists jump on the

I am Russian born American.
I lived in and remember the Soviet Union.

the recent "muh russia" narrative from the left is insane...

whoever leaked the DNC info, did everyone a favor by exposing the lies and corruption within the political establishment... was is the Russians? maybe... does it matter who did it? not at all...

yet the left, the media, the ENTIRE political system is so hell bent on staying in power and preserving their status quo, they're willing to sabotage Russo-American relations in order to propagate the false RUSSIAN HACKED OUR ELECTIONS AND MADE US QUESTION OUR POLITICAL SYSTEM. No shit the leaked info made the American people question the political system. Documents clearly showed that DNC lied to, cheated, and fucked over Bernie supporters... CNN colluded with Hillary's campaign... there were no fake news, nothing the leaks exposed was proved to be false...

bunch of corrupt motherfuckers...

Entire political system is rotten to the core. These latest sanction, and the margins by which they were passed through Senate and Congress shows how deeply corrupt the entire system is...
Picture unrelated, because Trump can't drain the swamp. The swamp is too deep and un-drainable..

Well yeah but my point is that Russo-American relations add a whole layer of shit. To say the least, if I moved to Russia, lived somewhere that isn't a St. Petersburg or Moscow, and a war kicked off while I was still fresh, I sure as fuck would be getting out of there on fear for my life, in fact in any scenario I would. That could be. I got mine in one of the earlier runs last year (I think) from SG, laquered and sealed, and could never get a full case into a regular .50 can so it started to get rotated into mags. I remember GT boxes being notably shorter than everything else I've bought other than fiocchi, which I remember being especially tiny.

Does anyone know the velocity and zero distance the 7.62x39 ACOG is set up for with the drop?

All I see is 123gr, but no velocity.
>>
>>34746169
>but no velocity.
This is where you should be using an ammo like golden tiger unless you can chrono your gun and ensure the stuff you've bought is going advertised speeds.
Some wolf for instance barely reaches 2000fps, so it's going to act different from something that actually reaches the 2350-ish fps mark.
>>
>>34746169
I would assume around 2300
>>
>>34742762

The white box and wolf boxes are longer then the golden tiger boxes,.
>>
>>34742641

I'm amazed since those boxes are like twice the size of the Tula/golden tiger style boxes, I couldn't get 1000 rounds of the mil spec .223 in a .50 can, how you did 7.62 Is beyond comprehension.

The semi-auto versions are $2200. I didn't notice that one had a third pin.

I... I honestly did not know this existed. I think I need this.

But on the other hand, there's something very haram about putting an acog on an ak.
>>
>>34746298
>ok, but what does that have to do with my question in the slightest?
Because if the velocity is considerably slower, why wouldn't the drop be thrown considerably off on the 762 BDC on your acog?

What I'm asking is what velocity is the ACOG turned to.

there is an exact flight-path they had in mind when they made the reticle drop pattern, hence them saying its geared to 123gr.

I'm trying to figure out what exact velocity that is.

Guess I'll have to email them.
>>
>>34746451
>What I'm asking is what velocity is the ACOG turned to.
Normal 762x39 velocities should be 2350. That's what everyone advertises so that's what it should be.

look at military arms channel, he chrono'd golden tiger and wolf right next to eachother from a 16 in barrel
Start video at 9:10, that's just as he's getting the 5 shot average of golden tiger. Then he moves to the wolf.
