It requires a unique but entirely learnable and comfortable manual of arms. You can really only use the vfg unless you want to hold right against the oversized trigger guard with your support hand. If you put irons on like I used to have, you'll have a short but still usable sight radius. There is a version that takes AR mags but omits the bolt release, which I think is shitty. That said AUG mags are fucking excellent and in the mid 20s in respect to price. Trigger is nothing special but it's not shit like a lot of people say. And even then, a geissele made and third party produced trigger is actively being approved by steyr.

The A3 M1 can accept any one of the three different rails and either of the currently produced fixed optics. It also uses an integrated QD socket for the forward sling mount.

The MFT stock is comfy, buddy of mine has an early prototype and it's great, kind of ugly
The A2 grip is fine, but an LMT ergo grip or BCM gunfighter would be more comfy
