Hey /k/ I was looking for a first time rifle, preferable one I could use to hunt Razorbacks. Does this seem like a good deal? Most other SKS's I looked at were going for around $450-$500 but those had a polymer stock and 20 round magazines coming with them.

buy it. Para's are kick ass guns.
You could probably trade it for a WASR if you want to, that is a fairly low price for a Para SKS

Thanks for the advice, any idea if I can get some hunting done with it?
>short barrel
Should be the default length. 7.62x39 doesn't benefit much from 20" anyway.

With an sks you basically have a semi auto 30-30 in your hands.
So yea you will be fine.

I am pretty impressed with the shorter barrel

Thank you for your help, I've only ever shot a .38 special before, but I'm hoping a couple rounds of target practice will get me use to the rifle.

yeah, for pigs it will work well. Reloads will be a little slow given it uses clips.
8m3 or hornady will be best

does your reciever have lightning cuts inside of it?They will look like little relief cuts on the walls of the reciever under the top cover
It looks like a early model t56 that was cut down at the factory for export.
