so i moved up to .45 which broke the knife but didnt go through it.

so i moved up to 5.56 which just pushed through it like butter.

how much did yours cost and how long did you go?

also how much money did you waste? I had about 400$ in cash and another 600$ in my bank account. At the end of the trip i had negative 24$ in my bank account and a handful of trinkets. I dont know how i managed to do that on a all expenses paid trip.

I didn't want it at first, but the gun was too good a deal to pass up. Then I found that the safety is really secure and doesn't actuate during normal use even if you flail around like a retard. After that, it became a minor thing to train around. Might even be a good thing since my M&P doubles as my night stand gun and it lowers the chance of a ND while grabbing at it in the dark.
In my eyes, it's a lateral move from a no-safety version.

I'm pretty safety neutral although I don't tend to have them, less is more for me. That said I never minded the M&P saftey, it's designed just swell. Just FYI - if you ever want to experiment I believe you can remove it and install a factory frame plug.

Just wanted something different, change things up a bit. The lo-profile saftey takes away the right side lever and slims the left lever. Makes the rear of the slide look better when i'm looking down my sights, gets rid of the wings in my peripherals. It also lowers the risk of accidentally engaging the safety if I have a malfunction. I just thought it makes since on a carry gun, plus it looks good imo.

I agree. I've shot so many DA to SA double/triple taps, I decock and return to fire without even thinking about it. Figured i'll keep the same muscle memory for now, until I get a G conversion kit later on.

3 o'clock. It's the most comfortable place for me. I do a lot of /out/ activities, hunting, fishing, metal detecting, atv riding, ect. carrying appendix is a very good option for concealing if most of your day requires more walking than sitting. For me it's the 3'oclock just out of comfort and natural placement. It mainly boils down to how you go about your day and personal preference. Sorry if i'm little help, not very good at giving advice.

I carry my PPK in that exact holster and that is my favorite holster. Underrated in the age of modded gloccs is kustom kydex contraptions. Just clip on, clip off when you feel like it. Drawing is natural. Max comfort.
