You only need one gun and a couple hundred rounds of ammo to "hold your own" against any reasonable threat.

I mean, yeah. I could have my own small personal army.
14 good combat guns(excluding some others with more limited usefulness like 22lr), and over 1k centerfire rds each on average that could be handed out.
