Does PSA still have credit card fraud issues?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

I was looking to order some mags and possibly an upper from PSA. I've never ordered from them before, but I saw rumors that they've had quite a few cases of stolen credit cards after ppl ordered from them.

Should I just order elsewhere or is this an old issue they've since corrected?

orders tacos with your credit card

Its simple, watch your credit card. If you see a questionable transaction, report it. That is something you should be doing anyway.

Or a boat motor, Fishing gear, and a Paula Deen kitchen set.

I never understood this when it comes to PSA.

>W-well they make good stuff
But peoples credit info was stolen buying stuff from them
>WELL YOU SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR OWN SHIT
Ok then. I won't buy from PSA.
>FUCK YOU PSA IS A GOOD COMPANY REEEEEEEEE
>>
Just use privacy.com, you can make temporary CC numbers connected to your actual CC for one-time use, that way people can't get a hold of your actual CC number.

Yeah I get that but why would anyone purposely order from a sketchy place when there's a higher risk of fraud when they could just avoid ordering altogether. I'm not going to order if they have problems and then refresh my account every hour monitoring it looking for fraudulent charges.

What realistically happened is a bunch of NEET or underground fudds using their porn riddled and infected computer typed their first or used for the first time online, credit card and went 'whoah someone stole my information! well the only one who did it could have been psa, since it's the only time ive ever used my credit card!'

Honestly people jump the gun so much. I've had so many elderly people come to have their computers fixed after clicking a single rogue email and getting 'anonymous has hacked your computer!' messages.

It's incredibly depressing to have people so incompetent.

That being said PSA is shit tier; and why you would want one of their uppers is beyond me.

Is this actually safe? Like this won't expose ones shit to privacy.com? Are they trustworthy?
>>
>>34732521
>It was everyone's first time buying online with their particular card.
They all has PSA in common and all had fraudulent charges.
>It was porn virus' and computer illiteracy.
Ok kid.
>>
>>34732521
Cause I'm poor. Can u suggest a better option for sub $300-400 uppers that aren't shit?
>>
>>34732524
From what I've seen they are very trustworthy. The guy who runs it is a former American Express executive. They don't sell any info to third parties and I haven't had any issues with them.
>>

Using a credit card anywhere is sketchy. My card number was stolen when I purchased something at Home Depot. Practically every big box store has had a breach of some size or another. Plus most credit cards are good at removing fraudulent charges and issuing you a new card.

If you go by your logic of just avoiding risk, you might as well never have a credit card and pay for everything in cash.

Not defending them anon, but a lot of people have credit card fraud. Good thing we have the internet for them to all gather together in an echo chamber and make it seem like a bigger problem.

Unless you have a garbage tier bank they will catch it instantly and usually will cover you for a quarter million dollars.
>>
>>34732515
PSA isn't sketchy. PSA doesn't have your credit card details, no website that's doing this the right way (which is pretty much every actual business) ever sees your credit card information. PSA's problem was their credit card processor which, surprise, doesn't only service PSA.

>>34732576
>someone who actually knows how cc transactions are processed online
Holy shit, it must be opposite day.
>>
>>34732521
Because I want a $400 beater AR. If I'm spending more than that I'll buy a different, better gun with more than "muh parts commonality!" going for it.
>>
>>34732576
>PSA's problem was
Is their problem, they haven't switched and refuse to admit anything is wrong.
