which is the best place to put a foregrip on, /k/?

Comfort 1
Better control/accuracy 2
Wherever the fuck you want. 1.5 is most comfy for me
can it be both?
>>34732228
It goes as far forward as you can reach. On a carbine it should be all the way forward.
>>34732228
In the trash...

>adding useless weight to your gun
Lol just hold it normally you fat tactifuck
>>34732228
Mine is on a KAC RAS M5 for the rifle length gas system, and I have my VG about 3/4 of the way forward. I have it there for for recoil compensation, but moreso in that spot so I can actuate my flashlight.

You disgusting sack of shit.

>which is the best place to put a foregrip on, /k/?
The top rail. Optimal placement for easy hip-fire. It will also prevent you from developing a bad habit of aiming down the sights.

Bad anon, bad!

>using a vert foregrip for recoil compensation
>vert foregrip and angled foregrip on rifle at same time
Seriously?
Unless you have a machine gun, a foregrip is not necessary.
>>34732912
What? I only have a single VG on my gun, not multiple grips.

If it's made of carbon fibre and graphene, the weight is negligible.

How's your arthritis there grandpa?
>>34732239
For real, why don't they do that? Sounds comfy
>>34733219
It increases the profile of the rifle and makes it harder to carry and store. When it's vertical, you already have to have the mag protruding that direction so it doesn't matter.
In the trash and replace that ugly ass plastic with some lumber.
As high and forward as you're comfortable to keep things inline. I wouldn't recommend the broomstick style grip as it was specifically designed for rifles with too much gear to make a normal grip feasible. There are styles which can help with wrist comfort if you prefer to use a grip. I don't personally, but I like the sleek aesthetic of a baseline weapon.

Here you go OP.

That's not what your mother said last night queer.

At number 1, but you have to hold it by the mag well
>>34732228
On the buttstock.
>>34732228
As far forward as is comfortable. It's pointless to put it in position 1. If you need to hold your rifle in such a way, use the magwell. I highly doubt most people here on /k/ will run into a situation where a hand position that far back is necessary. Other than LARPing (tacticool courses).
>>34732228
>>34734370
That being said, if it's comfortable for you to use it at position 1, then put it there.

attach it right to the foreskin, you still have yours right Anon?
>>34732228
So someone will probably crawl up my ass for this, but I keep mine close to the end of my M4 on the left rail with a 45 degree offset. It is a lot easier on my wrist and frees up the bottom rail if I want to switch up or throw on a bipod, cause I hate the plastic grip pod that I got issued. Shit's super flimsy.
