I'm afraid I'm not following you. That is precisely what is illustrated in OP's photo. The mount is indeed staked or screwed to the handle on an original M24 Stielhandgrenate.

no removable head/screwable head

I own a very cheap M24 replica. The entire thing is made out of one piece of wood except for the screws. Painted where the metal is supposed to be. For display purposes it is fine though.
