There is a difference between steel case and steel in the bullet aka this bullet attracts a magnet. Just because something is steel cased does not mean that the bullet contains steel. Gree tip t.56 could cause sparks because of the penetrator and it is brass

I believe Tula and some of the other cheap Slav shit has steel by product in the actual projectile, which is why it can spark and ricochet badly on indoor ranges. It can also possibly cause old powder to ignite in the bullet trap below the back of the range. It's a liability for regardless and jackasses bring steel core in quite often, so I don't blame ranges for saying No.
