Just why. That's a little retarded. Also
>5m run
Nope, fuck that. I run 3m in like 28 :((
>>
>>34726330
>I run 3m in like 28 :((
then your 5m should be 1 hour if you don't get fucked by fatigue
>>
Yes to literally all of these, they are shockingly simple. I haven't tried the rope climb but I used to kick ass at that back in PE.
>>
>>34726347
>>34726330
damn dude, thats really slow. 9.15 minute mile slow.
>>
>>34726137
Yes, definitely.

It's my job though. I'm a boxing coach, having been pro before, and spend most of my time in or around a gym
>>
idk what a kip up is

the only one i can't do is pushups, because im a turbolanklet. but I've been able to do it before so i know it would only take a couple of weeks to train up the muscle mass.

benching 80% of my weight is like 100 lbs lmao
>>
>>34726425
>
Kip ups are where you drop down to your belly and jump back up iirc
>>
>>34726137
From age 18-35ish I could do all these. Now that I am older I doubt I could.
>>
>>34726439
ah thats nothin. being light makes most of the "hard" exercises super easy. like pullups.
>>
I couldn't even do a pullup at 16 in high school, let alone now at 27.
>>
>>34726500
thats pathetic anon\. Sort yourself out
>>
>>34726137
Yes to all except the kips

Why is this a requirement for the USSF?
>>

>>

Lol thats IT?!?! WHY THE FUCK AM I NOT A SPECIAL FORCES OPERATOR RIGHT NOW?!?!
>>
>>34726608
ASK YOURSELF THAT FUCKING QUESTION AGAIN.

THINK ABOUT IT
>>
>>34726137
Thats pretty easy, that isnt even the minimum standard to get into british infantry units.

However you do have to remember its just about establishing a baseline, lowest denominator level of fitness; as in, if you cant do these with ease you will struggle with the actual training. Furthermore, you might be able to do those whilst well rested, but theyll expect you to be able to do that whilst mentally and physically thrashed.
When I was in basic training, we came off a 6 day exercise with a tab back to the buses after being bumped all night and getting max 2 hours sleep, we did 5 miles in about 55 minutes because our nazi PTI ran half the bitch.

> tldr; physical entry requirements arent a good indicator of whats to come
>>
>>34726687
why do you lie ?

Press-ups: A minimum of 44 in two minutes.

Sit-ups: A minimum of 50 in two minutes.

this is from bongs, did you know we have internet and can look it up ?
>>
>>34726636
I did. Do you have something you want to explain anon?
>>
>>34726776
How about you fucking the bullet and enlist as an 18x MOS ya duncunpoon?

Yes but I am under weight so I would still be unable to join.
>>
>>34726787
Thought about it but my fiancee couldn't handle being an Army wife. I actually would really love to join the special forces but its not worth losing a loved one over. Maybe if I hadn't fallen so hard for the college meme

lmao tell that bitsh to fuck off, your mates there would love you more than your mother did.

Do you know what the process for doing all these is? Is it back to back or do you do it, wait a little, do the next, repeat?

I couldn't do have the things on that list anymore, would this be a good benchmark to get /fit/ guys? I can't afford gym membership and I've been getting really out of shape since I EAS'd, I've been thinking of picking up fitness standards from different branches and SF groups to stay fit
>>
>>34726137
Yes.

I received a presidential physical fitness award 2007 and have only lost about 10% of that ability after adopting a raw vegan diet where I am mostly sedentary.

If I got up and stretched, did moderate cardio a few times per week, and did a few body weight exercises I would surpass my records no doubt in my mind. I could probably beat em right now.
>>
>>34726940
>pullups
>pushups
>lunges
>situps
>jump rope or bike for cardio (running/jogging is retard bad for your knees, just have the cardio for when you need to), or you can wing it by doing interval sprints and hope for the best
Literally all you need to do or should have to, unless you want to lift
>>
>>34726939

5' is 60". You're 64" tall.
>>
>>34726948

I want to lift but I won't have some money for the next month or two so I've been looking into bodyweight work outs. Right now I'm 72 inches and weigh about 185 pounds, I've been getting fat around my waist and my arms flabby. My fat distribution is totally fucked and it becomes very evident the more bad weight I pack on

do that routine and diet m8, save some money lmao. (if you were me, that would also mean cutting out alcohol to once a week or none at all...)
>>
>>34727034
I quit drinking and smoking when I got out, last week in I went on a tear and woke up with a head splitting headache, a black eye, wallet and phone was gone and in a sand covered and piss soaked bed, thats when I decided I should probably stop. I really like weed and mac and cheese though, my main issue is motivating myself to get up and actually do the workouts
>>
>>34727048
>weed
Ignoring the carbs, you should probably stop wasting money on any reality distorting substance. It's escapism, and you'll find more happiness in goal accomplishing pursuits.

Pick up a hobby and make one being a fit human.
>>
>>34726751
Calm your tits sweetie, I didnt see that it was in 1 minute not 2.
>>
>>34727080
You're right, weed money will be repurposed for guns and ammo money
>>
>>34726137
>5m run in 40m or less
If you can't run that with 4 weeks of training or less you're FAT.
>>
>>34727104
exactly
>>
>>34726137
I can do everything except the bench, kip ups, and run
I've never tried bench but that shouldn't be so hard
I don't know what kip ups are
I don't run long distance, I'm more of a sprinter guy.
>>
>>34727001

>>
>>34726857
can i fuck their boipocci? i like getting real street blowjobs too much to give up this Jody ass lifestyle
>>
>>34726137
Around a year ago I met and exceeded (I got to 60 each) the standards for the push-ups and sit-ups.

I could definitely get the ruck march, though the running, rope climb, and pull-ups would get me.
The bench press...I don't know. I might be able to?

Refresh my memory on what kip ups and shuttle runs are?

Also, my point is that I have the potential to meet these standards again quite easily.
>>
>>34728546
Actually, I take it back.
Of all the excel uses here, the kip ups push ups and sit-ups are the ones I would definitely (with around two weeks/three weeks of training to get back into shape) do.
>>
>>34726500
Dude I'm 42, in semi-ok shape (I let myself slip after a hernia surgery), I'm probably about 10 pounds over my ideal weight, currently 170, and I can pretty easily do 10 dead hang pull ups with good form. You just need the motivation to get good. There was a time when I could only do 3-4, but I worked at it and at one point could do sets of 14 no problem.
>>
>>34726137
I don't have to, because I work a real job

wew
>>
>>34726366
9 minute mile is pretty damn good for a 23 year old man who isn't/wasn't a track athlete
>>
>>34726137
>USSF
What in the fuck is this memery?
>>
>>34728850
I didn't start running until I was in my early 30's, and can run a sub 7:00 minute mile, my 3 mile time is about 22:30. You just need to work at it anon.
>>
>>34728850
No it's not. A man in decent shape should ne doing 7-30 8 min miles max.
Back when I ran my best 5k was sub 6min splits.
>>
>>34728850
No. 23 isn't some ancient age where you muscles don't work anymore. If you can jog at all, you're doing at least 9 min/mile. As others have said, 8 min/mile is where you should be starting.
>>
>>34728850
as someone who is 18, 6', 180lbs, and runs an 8:30 mile with a rather inactive lifestyle who runs maybe twice a week on track and pavement: where you start and how you progress is dependent on your current weight and muscle mass, cardiovascular health and the FITT principle, AND your previous experiences. There is no UNIVERSAL place where you "should" be starting
>>
>>34726137
Why do soccer players need to climb ropes in armor? What are they planning?
>>
>>34726137
Yes, I could pass the shit out of all of that.
