I'm trying to decide on a new project. I'd like to create the pistol from either Leon: The Professional (pic related) or John Wick's compensated P30L.
The former is pretty straightforward, but Wick's will be much harder since his compensator appears to be a one off custom made one.
Thoughts?
>>34720949
Go and watch both movies again. Then copy the pistol of the movie you like better.
>>34720949
>Not replicating the TT-33 from Kingsman first
John Wick vs Robocop who wins?
USP45
At least that's what I'm doing, soon. Hopefully.
>>34721172
John Wick.
I saw Keeanu's range day video. Dude can operate
>>34721184
John Wick vs Vincent that isn't have an existential crisis?

having
Man the USP sure looks good with a flushed light.

Tokarev is a god tier pistol

>Go and watch both movies again. Then copy the pistol of the movie you like better.
I like both equally...Leon is like a 90s Wick.
Only one correct answer.
>>34721291
>Leon is a '90s Wick
Nope. Leon operated quite differently from Wick.
>Leon
>quiet and unassuming
>no family, and until Matilda showed up, no friends
>had a sparse, out-of-the-way apartment with few things that was easily "burned"
>kept his savings locally via a mob launderer who was also his only real middleman/confidante
>slow and steady attack approach with suppressed pistols and ambushes from superior attack angles
>only caught because a corrupt psycho DEA agent's goons went sniffing for survivors (Matilda)
>Wick
>known by locals, even if just for "business"
>deceased wife and doggo, one of whom's deaths pushed him to dismantle one of his former employer's entire organization
>everyone he knows either dies, tries to kill him at some point, or throws him to the wolves with little more than a shrug and a what-else-can-I-do
>nice big house in the middle of nowhere, along with a nice car; very expensive and flashy, easily ambushed twice
>hard and fast assaults with long guns, superior maneuvering, and full offense
>thrown back into the fire TWICE now due to old connections trying to fuck with him
Two awesome movies, but two very different characters
>>34721323
Processing.
>>34720949
Beeing also a fan of both movies - i would go for Leons gun. I get some real good retro-vibes from that one.
And if you are a cool guy, like really cool, you are going to go the extra mile and build a matching surpressor.
>>34721118
Dafuq is that trigger doing on a tok?
>>34722053
It has two triggers.
>>34721323
>Cleric pistol, +1 attack and damage rolls against undead, +1 turn undead attempts per day
>>34721578
This. Leon makes sense as an urban hitman, making sudden strikes then grey-manning out. John Wick can operate quietly too (early Russian nightclub), but he isnt afraid of a brutal frontal assault.
Frankly i'm not sure which i'd rather hire for a job, both seem perfectly good cleaners.
Maybe Leon, cuz i liked him better as a character who developed more.
>>34721323
>Not keeping your GCP on safe+decock+lock
Did you forget to take your prozium?
>>34722053
its for the underbarreloneshotgun
>>34721615
>build a matching surpressor
Not allowed where I'm from. The compensator (sgs) would have to be threaded to fit a "mock" suppressor/shroud. The comp (more of a weight really) is already like several hundred dollars...
>>34721118
Kingsman is shit. My unpopular opinion for the day.
>>34720949
I did this myself anon. Tricked out a 92 full on Leon style. Comp, D mainspring, steel short-reach trigger and adjustable sights. It was sweet shooting but like most of my range toys I got tired of it and sold it to try something else.
>>34722124
this
Leone for sure
>tfw I will never have a girl fall in love with me and bring me more happiness than I have ever known
Make both, that >>34721118, and that >>34721323 and this.
>>34725854
Your opinion is not a unpopular as you might think. Kingsman is tryhard and completely amateurish. You could tell that the writers thought they were deftly subverting action movie tropes, but they couldn't have been more obvious and hamfisted about it if they tried.
>>34725921
who made the comp, is it one of HEC's, or the guy from the berettaforum?
>>34721291
There's your answer.
Two films.
Two hands.
Two guns.
Two scoops.
Two terms.
Two genders.
>>34726373
>HEC's
Most likely.
Wick's P30L compensator would need to be custom made, unless you'd want to comprimise with another comp.
Is anybody else a little surprised that nobody makes a John Wick repro compensator? Maybe they don't think the cross over between Wick fans and P30L owners is that big, but I'd get one.
Also how is that compensator attached? It looks like it has to be threaded on or something like that.
>no women no kids.
>Except for one loli.
>Everyone can have one loli
>>34727283
it was probably special built for the movie because "his gun needs to look cooler"
>>34721118
>no hammers
Wut?
>>34726246
It's better that way, because when they leave you have even less than before and the knowledge that it was all your fault.
>>34722124
Leon would share his loli Natalie Portman with you too. I dont see Wick sharing any lolis with anyone, do you?
>>34720949
>>34721323
>>34726285
>implying the guns from Underworld aren't the true GOAT modded Beretta
The compensators shaped to match the lines of the slide are aesthetic as fuck.
>>34728229
You either go SGS or ported barrel on a Beretta anon.
>>34721578
I think both movies were made in a time when their titular characters were unusual.
>Leon is a quiet unassuming man in the same decade when Die Hard, Mission Impossible, The Rock, Terminator 2 were released and glorified the over-the-top action stars who "swore they'd never do it again" "come on, come back one more time"
>John Wick is the flashy well-known member of an international crime syndicate the same decade as Inception, Looper, Salt, Olympus has Fallen, similar unassuming action heroes driven to great actions.
Because reasons
>>34728415
This right here.
Leon was the antithesis of Swarzenegger and friends, John Wick Oper8s hard where most similar action movies are going Shadow Recruit or Inception, unless it is explicitly militaristic.
So /k/, which would you rather have come after you? John Wick and his 3-gun loadout, or Leon with a Natalie Portman sidekick?
>>34726373
HEC
>>34721118
Do people really like this design? It looks like it would be really uncomfortable to fire, and ugly as hell.
Also the movie was just okay. Not sure why they made a second one, haven't bothered with it.
I did the Leon thing, not an exact close but a lookalike in terms of the sweet comp.
>>34729417
*exact clone
mine isn't a straight dust cover and it doesn't have an "Algimec" logo on the side. And Leon didn't have a chrome screw.

>>34728229
My nostalgia beg to differ
>>34729434
>mine isn't a straight dust cover
I've been looking for one with the straight cover for a while.
>>34725854
I thought it was like a knockoff of The Recruits novels.
You know, the whole
>young chav gets a sense of purpose after being inducted into an elite secret intelligence service
thing
>>34729626
The Secret Service (later renamed Kingsman) is a 2012 spy comic book series written by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. It deals with a super-spy recruiting his young nephew to the secret service, channeling the classic James Bond films, and other famous spy thrillers.

250 for the compensator tho...
>>34731552
worth it
>>34725854
i agree. kingsman was shit. my biggest complaint is that the villains won in the end, especially after they went to the trouble of revealing that the good guy had a well thought out plan, and had evidence backed up by scientists.
>>34727283
>Also how is that compensator attached?
it's threaded indeed
you can tell from this pic
the comp rises with the barrel
>>34721184
No no no. Keanu Reeves would annihilated whatever Leon's character actor is. Those are the actual actors.
From a film perspective, looking at the characters, Leon is the superior operative operations operater.
