Do guns of the same caliber sound different than each other? For example in a video game, a 9mm Glock sounds different than a 9mm Beretta, but wouldn't they sound the same in real life?

Short answer: yes, to some extent.

Sometimes. Sometimes not. An AK-47 has a distinctive sound that is much different than a SKS. You'll never mistake that sound for anything else if you've ever been on the wrong end of one. It's a flatter "toow toow toow" sound than other rifles make. Distinctive flattened inflection. Not sure why.

For the most part yes they sound the same. Consider however different barrel lengths, porting, muzzle devices suchs as brakes and suppressors, chamber pressure dyring extraction, differences in ammunition used.
My Hi-Point sounds a little louder than my CZ75 since it has a shorter barrel and being blowback operated some of the hot gasses vent when it extracts (though that probably only makes a negligible difference).
But for the most part it's a loud bang that sounds near as makes no difference the same from a distance.
