I have both a paramilitary 2 and a benchmade 943, prefer the 943 because I prefer the axis lock over the compression lock and like more pocketable size of the 943.

Both are fine knives, maybe visit Cabella's or a REI and try both of them in hand to decide.

Both. Seriously.

But if you are going to EDC use it, and not hard use it, and camp with it, etc. then the 940-1 is better. It's lighter, and smaller, but has a huge blade.

PM2 is more of a hard use knife if you're using it for a long time, especially with gloves. It's bigger, got a better grip, easier to open, more comfortable using for long periods.

These things fucking suck. 6oz for a smaller folder, with a shit liner lock that always closes with the slightest pressure on the back of the knife. Fuck a zt 0350
