Budget can stretch about as far as $1500.
Was thinking of grabbing a CZ Scorpion and brace to fill an empty spot in my collection — don't have any carbines yet, and don't have any pistols that aren't handguns.
I'd like to hear your suggestions!
Winchester M1895 and a M1897 Trench gun combo with leather scabbards and then a horse to put them on.

u unnerstand nao?
a scorpion with a brace would be pretty good. my scoprion has ran 100% so far on all types of 9mm ammo with no cleaning. probably around 1000 rounds since i got it. i realize 1000 rounds isnt a lot but in 9mm blowback, it does get dirty.
its a neat gun and it seems like everyone that tries it, likes it. i do think it needs some aftermarket parts to make it a great gun. stock safety and charging handle kind of suck.

Still a handgun

are they pretty easy to change? I think the safety is just a pop-out part, no? I've heard that the stock ambi safety tends to dig into your trigger finger, so will probably switch it out. Any recommendations on aftermarket parts?

Remington Model 8s are pretty fucking cool.

very easy to change. the stock charging handle is kind of small and harder to manipulate than its larger aftermarket alternatives. you lock the CH back, push a cross pin out and release the CH forward. its that easy.
HBI, gearhead works, and yetiwurks are the go to for scorpion parts.
the most difficult thing to change on a scorpion is the trigger, only bc the screw that holds the pack in is tac welded so it has to be screwed out. not a hard job but i dilled off center when i did it which kind of made it a pain.
I also need help with deciding on what gun to buy
